Brendan Farrell

Brendan Farrell is a passionate and personable educator with a particular interest in how we learn and develop basic problem solving skills. Brendan currently tutors full-time for standardized tests and school subjects. In addition to his five years of one-on-one test prep tutoring experience, Brendan has also taught several SAT & ACT prep classes and worked as a substitute teacher for Abington Friends School. Hailing from Phoenixville, PA, Brendan graduated from Villanova University where he majored in English and minored in Philosophy. In May of 2019, Brendan completed a Masters of Education from Villanova University and earned a PA Teaching Certificate in Secondary English and Secondary Math.

Brendan is an extremely kind, approachable educator with a knack for helping students learn essential strategies to succeed on the SAT and ACT tests. He does so with a supportive and engaging approach, helping students conquer the SAT and/or ACT tests in a non-stressful manner. Furthermore, Brendan is adept at identifying specific, test prep subject content areas - for example, SAT or ACT grammar or math topics that a particular student might struggle with – and then offering very targeted remediation in the process. This one-two punch, implementing test prep strategy while also teaching relevant academic content, is extremely effective in raising test scores.

Brendan is available to coach for the PSAT, SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, and LSAT tests, as well as writing and composition, literature and language arts, Arithmetic, Geometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics (including AP), and Calculus (including AP).
